z e e c e r a m i c s is an ongoing exploration of balance—raw and refined, organic and intentional, fluid and structured. Rooted in nature and minimalism, my work embraces clay’s impermanence, where texture and form create a dialogue.
With a background in architecture and design, I distill shapes to their essence, stripping away excess to reveal purity in form. Yet, within this simplicity, I leave space for the unexpected—traces of touch, subtle irregularities, and the quiet poetry of transformation through fire.
The process is slow, intuitive, shaped by repetition and rhythm. I build by hand, allowing volumes to emerge gradually, guided by weight and balance. Layers of slip soften or define the surfaces, capturing movement and preserving the presence of making.
The landscapes of my origins subtly find their way into my work, shaping pieces that feel both familiar and timeless. In the meditative act of making, I find stillness—an antidote to the fast and fleeting, a way to process emotions, thoughts, and energy. Each piece holds more than just form; it carries memory—of process, of passage, of presence, and the beauty of the handmade.
